Janet Lee
Janet, born in Hong Kong and raised in Los Angeles since the age of 3, never imagined herself moving anywhere else. After completing her undergraduate degree at UCLA, she attended Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in 2012 where she fell deeply in love with North Carolina. She was welcomed with open arms by the supportive, diverse, and open community of Durham and automatically felt at home. After graduating, Janet moved back to LA but quickly realized that Durham was where her heart belonged. In 2013, she met her husband, a Durham native, and together they have a happy 2-year-old baby boy and a grumpy, old cat. Janet is proud to call North Carolina her forever home.
She is the owner and founder of ZenFish Poke Bar, a small Hawaiian-fusion restaurant serving sustainable seafood here in the Triangle with two locations in Durham and one in Morrisville. She emphasizes promoting kindness, compassion, human connection, and sustainability in an inclusive and safe space for her customers, her team, and the community.
Her goal is to provide authentic, loyal, and honest service to her clients. Helping people has always been her passion and she hopes to work together with her clients to navigate the confusing world of real estate. Whether it be finding a dream home, a real estate investment, or selling a property, Janet will do whatever it takes for her clients to achieve their goal. She can empathize both with people who have recently moved here and locals in search of love like she has for North Carolina!
